Rector’s Orientation Visit to University Advancement Office

As part of his ongoing orientation visits to different schools and departments , Rector NUST Dr Muhammad Zahid Latif visited the University Advancement Office (UAO) on January 17, 2025.

Emphasising that imparting education is a noble undertaking, the Rector underscored the need for developing a robust endowment-building mechanism that supports a broad-based and sustainable financial assistance programme for deserving students.

Given our national footprint, he said that it is incumbent upon us to cater for the educational needs of all units of the Federation. This calls for rigorous endowment building measures, especially to bring deserving yet financially challenged students from the country’s far-flung areas to pursue higher education at NUST.

While acknowledging the contributions of the university’s alumni to NUST Endowment for Educational Development (NEED) programmme, the Rector urged exploring strategic windows of collaboration with international partners in supporting NUST.
