Rector NUST Welcomes Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur

Rector, Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, met Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, Islamia University Bahawalpur, during the latter’s visit to NUST on 26 November 2025. The two academic leaders had an in-depth conversation on academic leadership, university governance and the evolving landscape of higher education in Pakistan.
Their discussion centred on strengthening academic quality, promoting research excellence, enhancing knowledge-based and reflected a shared commitment to meaningful academic dialogue.
Rector also presented the Vice Chancellor a copy of his recently launched book, Pakistan’s Search for Peace with Afghanistan: Statecraft, Policy, and Strategy.
