Rector NUST Meets Uzbek Ambassador to Strengthen Academic and Diplomatic Ties

A delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, visited NUST and called on Rector, Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif.
The visit came in context of the recent conferment of the NUST Honorary Doctorate Degree to H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, highlighting the ongoing academic and diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
The delegation engaged with NUST leadership, further exploring opportunities for deepening academic collaboration and research partnerships, key pillars of people-to-people ties.
The visit reflected the growing strength of Pakistan-Uzbekistan bilateral relations, anchored in shared values, longstanding goodwill and a common vision for educational and regional cooperation between the two countries.
