NUST-HEC GRE Preparatory Training Programme Concludes, Expanding Pathways for Pakistani Youth

The NUST-HEC Collaborative GRE Preparatory Training Programme concluded at NUST, marking the successful completion of a three-week intensive programme conducted under the Talent Farming component of the U.S.-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor at Jinnah School of Public Policy & Leadership (JSPPL), NUST.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman HEC Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Rector NUST Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, university leadership and distinguished guests.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman HEC highlighted the immense potential of Pakistan’s youth and appreciated NUST’s institutional prowess and expertise in nurturing talent and preparing young students to compete at the international level.
He commended NUST for its efforts and reaffirmed HEC’s continued support.
Over three weeks, students underwent intensive GRE preparatory training , equipping them with the skills required to pursue competitive GRE scores, PhD opportunities and scholarships at leading universities in the United States.
The initiative forms part of HEC and NUST’s broader efforts to develop Pakistan’s future pool of highly qualified human capital.
GRE preparatory workshop has also been conducted at Quetta, with further sessions planned in Lahore and Karachi.
