NUST and HBL Reinforce Strategic Academia-Industry Partnership

Rector NUST, Dr Muhammad Zahid Latif, welcomed a distinguished delegation from Habib Bank Limited (HBL) led by its President & CEO, marking a milestone in academia-industry collaboration.
The delegation visited the National Science & Technology Park (NSTP) and the National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) at NUST, where they explored innovations in agritech, fintech and AI with potential for joint projects. Discussions also extended to leadership development, governance and policy innovation through JSPPL and IEDC.
With NUST’s multidisciplinary strength across more than 20 institutions, both sides reaffirmed their longstanding partnership and expressed a shared commitment to transform it into a strategic collaboration that addresses Pakistan’s technological, social and human capital challenges.
