Rector NUST welcomed Dr. John Kooti, Dean John L. Groove School of Business, Shippensburg University, USA, and AACSB Peer Reviewer, on 19th November 2025 during his consultative visit to NUST Business School.
The meeting formed an important part of NBS’s preparations for the AACSB Initial Accreditation Visit scheduled for May 2026 and Dr. Kooti’s visit marks a critical milestone in the accreditation journey, providing developmental guidance ahead of the formal review.
During the interaction, Dr. Kooti briefed Rector on his preliminary observations from the pre-SER review, including strategic direction, faculty development, assurance of learning and alignment with AACSB’s accreditation standards.
Rector shared the broader vision for the growth of business education at NUST, ongoing academic enhancements and the University’s commitment to quality, relevance and societal impact.
The exchange offered valuable insight into NUST’s aspirations for NBS and reaffirmed the University’s resolve to achieve international accreditation benchmarks.
