Rector NUST Strengthens Global Collaboration at Staffordshire University

As part of his official visit to the United Kingdom, Rector Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, accompanied by senior NUST leadership, visited Staffordshire University for a high-level roundtable discussion with the university’s executive team and a tour of key academic and research facilities.
Hosted by Professor Dr. Raheel Nawaz, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education and Research) and a proud NUST alumnus (MCS 1999), the visit reaffirmed NUST’s commitment to expanding global partnerships that bridge technology, creativity and innovation.
The engagement reflected NUST’s forward-looking approach to higher education and its emphasis on building collaborative ecosystems that connect academia with emerging industries. Discussions during the visit focused on strengthening joint initiatives in artificial intelligence, computing, and the creative industries, building on the success of the jointly established Creative Artificial Intelligence Lab (CAIL).
