Rector NUST Orientation Visit to Field Admin Dte

Rector NUST Dr Muhammad Zahid Latif has emphasised the pivotal role of quality campus amenities and administrative services in creating a vibrant academic culture. While highlighting the broad contours of an enabling campus environment, the Rector termed NUST one of the most sought-after universities not only for its coveted academic standing but also for its landscaping and all-encompassing facilities. He made these remarks during his maiden visit to the Field Administration Dte at the NUST Islamabad campus.

Emphasising the crucial role of sports and requisite infrastructure in promoting physical fitness and holistic development of students, the Rector expressed his commitment to promoting athleticism alongside academic excellence. He also appreciated the transformative impact of campus horticulture and urged greater engagement in green initiatives involving staff, students, and faculty.

Sharing his vision for NUST, he reaffirmed the vital role of the administrative services towards ensuring a world-class academic and learning experience. Later, the Rector also interacted with officers and staff in the administration departments, and specifically acknowledged the services of the members long associated with NUST.
